Burbank is a large, greenbelt suburb located within Brisbane, Queensland. According to the 2016 census, the suburb recorded a population of 1,050 people. Mount Petrie lies to the North of Burbank.

The area of Burbank was originally known as Upper Tingalpa. It is claimed that the name of the suburb is named after Alfred Harry Burbank who was a surveyor and farmer and was a resident in the area from 1890 to 1908.

The outer part of Brookfield is primarily large acreage blocks, with widespread gardens and prestige housing built on them.  The suburb has not been subdivided into small residential blocks to keep the population low. According to the 2009 Australian Property Investor Magazine, Burbank was the third highest median house price in Australia, at A$1.1 million.

Residents at Burbank remain living in the suburb for an average of 13 years according to the RP data figures.

Burbank is home to working and hobby farms, palm nurseries and turf farms. The suburb also has many churches and temples. In terms of educational institutions, the closest school is Mount Petrie State School or a local Jewish School.
