Logan Reserve is rural-residential suburb located in Logan City, Queensland. The suburb has a population of 2,154 people according to the 2011 census. Logan Reserve originated in 1862 when over 500,000 acres of the Logan Agricultural Reserve were released by settlers. The first crop that was grown on the land was cotton and in 1864 to 1856 a small church/ school became the first building to be created. Farming and timber- getting were the primary industries during the 1890s, and continued to remain significant through to the 20th century.
The suburb offers a variety of residential options including acreage bushland and suburban- style streets. However, most properties in the suburb range from 2 acres to 10 acres.
