Yarrabilba is a suburb located in Logan City, Queensland. Before European settlement, which began around 1862, the land at Yarrabilba was occupied by the Wangerriburra Clan. The name Yarrabilba is originates from the Wangerriburra/ Bundjalung language meaning ‘place of song’. Ceremonies involving singing took place in this area.

During 2010, it was announced that Yarrabilba will be a new location for a future city. Yarrabilba was expected to contain 20,000 dwellings housing with up to 50,000 people. In 2011, the development began for the urban precinct. As of June 2018, Yarrabilba consists of seven neighbourhoods including: Oak Leaf, The Avenues, The Retreat, Sandstone Ridge, Sunrise Crossing, Vista and Wickham Rise.

In 2014, a part of Yarrabilba was removed to form the new locality of, Kairabah.
Educational institutions began with Yarrabilba State School opening in 2018.

Areas that surround Yarrabilba include suburbs Logan Village, Cedar Creek, Tamborine, Stockleigh & Kairabah.
